With the weighty low-end balance of a 12″, the G10 Greenback features a complex, creamy mid-range and smooth, vintage top-end. In small combos this speaker adds real class, and when combined in a 4×10 gives rise to a raunchy, full-bodied tone, rich in low-end thump.

By performing extensive listening tests with 10″ Celestion ceramic drivers from the late 60s onward, as well as drawing on the experience gained from the development of the original G12M Greenback, Celestion engineers have created a speaker that remains faithful to the sonic spirit of the Greenback family. It has the same warm bodied character and  distinctive growl that is the trademark of the original.

With an eight hole chassis that’s more versatile for upgrades, the new G10 has been built with its own green can, which should leave no-one in any doubt of this remarkable speaker’s family history. The G10 Greenback truly is a contemporary speaker with a vintage pedigree.
